In June of 2019 and June 2022 we went on the Tide Rip Grizzly Tour. This is a full day, early morning trek on multiple boats, starting at Telegraph Cove, BC and straight through to the Knight Inlet. On our way back we stopped at the beautiful Lagoon Cove. The entire day was unforgettable. Started with a foggy morning boat ride, reminiscent of a thriller novel. Then it let up to reveal Transient Orcas, many different birds, and a lone black bear off of the shoreline. We then travelled into the Bear Conservation and the scenery did not disappoint.
The main attraction of this tour is focused on the Bear Conservation in Knight Inlet. You get to observe the Grizzly Bears in their natural habitat, safely and without disturbing them. This trip is a definite must for anyone who enjoys photography, or observing wildlife in their natural habitat.
